You should make daily backups of your system. The most likely cause of lost data is the failure (or destruction or theft) of your computer, so store your backups on a flash drive and keep the flash drive in a separate location.

If you save your backup to a USB flash disk you can move it offsite.
The backup filename is date and time stamped so your backups will not overwrite previous ones stored in the same folder. The backup files don't use much disk space, so backup frequently.
